About Occupational Therapy
Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to participate in everyday activities — such as play, learning, self-care, and social interaction.
It supports their growth by addressing sensory, motor, emotional, and cognitive areas, helping them reach their full potential in daily life.
Occupational therapy can help your child improve independence, confidence, and participation in daily routines.
Depending on their needs, therapy may focus on fine or gross motor skills, sensory regulation, feeding, handwriting, play, or emotional and social development.
I work with infants, children, and adolescents who may experience developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, attention challenges, autism spectrum disorder, dyspraxia, handwriting difficulties, feeding issues, or emotional and behavioral concerns.
The Therapeutic Process
Sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the child’s needs, attention level, and goals. Shorter or longer sessions may be arranged when appropriate.
This helps identify the child’s strengths, challenges, and daily goals in order to create a personalized therapy plan.

Parent involvement is highly encouraged.
