I warmly welcome you to my personal professional page.

My name is Styliana Sotiriou and I am a graduate Occupational Therapist. I completed my studies with distinction at the European University Cyprus in 2020, and since then I have been working consistently and lovingly in the field of occupational therapy, focusing on supporting children and adolescents with developmental and neurological difficulties.

During my university studies, I carried out my clinical practices in public special education schools, in private pediatric centers, in rehabilitation centers such as “Plasticity”, the “Melathron of EOKA Fighters”, and “Saint John the Lampadistis”, in nursing homes, as well as in the Mental Health Services of the Athalassa Psychiatric Hospital.

I have four years of professional experience in the field of Occupational Therapy, having worked in a private center for evaluation and intervention for children and adolescents. As part of my ongoing professional development, I have been trained in Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy (ASI), in the SOS Approach to Feeding for the assessment and intervention of children with feeding difficulties, as well as in the evidence-based protocol of Therapeutic Listening.

At the same time, I have completed the basic training levels DIR101 and DIR201 of the scientific model DIRFloortime® and I am in the process of completing the next levels. Additionally, I have received training in the evaluation and intervention of Dysgraphia, aiming to improve the writing and academic performance of preschool and school-aged children. Furthermore, I have attended various seminars and lectures on topics related to occupational therapy and child support, aiming for the continuous enhancement of my knowledge and therapeutic practice.
